Year-Round Adventure Starts Here
Training for snow sports in Hawaii is a unique and inspiring experience! Our program is built around the belief that world-class athletes can be developed anywhere—even in the tropics. We offer innovative training that brings the spirit of the mountains to the islands.
Roller Skiing: The Ultimate Cross-Training
- Roller skiing is our primary summer training tool, and it’s a game-changer for athletes of all ages and skill levels.
- Weekly meetups on smooth pavement help athletes master balance, endurance, and ski-specific technique—no snow required!
- Roller skiing is fun, safe, and social. It builds strength, agility, and stamina while keeping teammates connected and motivated.
- Open to everyone: new skiers, experienced racers, and families looking for a new challenge.
- - Surfing and Paddleboarding: Great for balance, core strength, and leg endurance—directly transferable to skiing and snowboarding.
- Skateboarding and Longboarding: Practice carving, balance, and agility on pavement, simulating snowboard and ski movements.
- Inline Skating (Rollerblading): Excellent for edge control, lower body strength, and mimicking ski turns.
- Mountain Biking: Builds leg strength, balance, and cardiovascular fitness—plus, it’s fun and adventurous.
- Trail Running and Hiking: Improves endurance, leg power, and overall fitness while enjoying Hawaii’s natural beauty.
- Beach Workouts: Sand sprints, agility ladders, plyometrics, and resistance training on the beach for explosive strength.
- Balance and Agility Drills: Use BOSU balls, balance boards, slacklines, and agility ladders to enhance proprioception and quickness.
- Water Workouts: Swimming for cardio and low-impact conditioning, or even pool-based plyometrics.
- Yoga and Mobility Sessions: Improve flexibility, recovery, and injury prevention.
- Team-Building Games: Beach volleyball, soccer, or other group sports to keep things fun and foster team spirit.
Looking Ahead: Artificial Snow in Hawaii
- We’re excited to announce plans to bring artificial snow to Hawaii for summer training!
- Our vision is to create a dedicated training area with artificial snow on-island, giving athletes the chance to practice on skis year-round.
- This project will offer:
- On-artificial snow technique sessions in the summer
- Opportunities for all ages to experience skiing and snowboarding without leaving Hawaii
- Community events, clinics, and family fun days
- Stay tuned for updates as we break new ground for snow sports in the islands!
